I meet you where you are and provide nonjudgmental support as you embark on this journey of self-discovery.
Individual Therapy for Adults
Psychodynamic psychotherapy, often referred to as “talk therapy,” has been scientifically proven to alleviate feelings of anxiety, worry, sadness, and distress. Are you looking for a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings? Do you want support in relieving the discomfort that anxiety and worry bring to your life?
If you’re hoping to make positive changes to reduce loneliness, alleviate burnout, or experience more joy in your day-to-day life, I offer a warm, supportive environment where we can work together to help you become your best self.
Parenting Support
Parenting can be fulfilling, rewarding as well as stressful and overwhelming. I can provide support through parent work that allows space for parents to understand their own anxiety, stress, emotional state as well as begin to make connections about how they were parented and how that might impact the relationship with their children. When parents feel cared for and supported, they can gain a greater understanding of themselves, and feel more attuned to their children. Parent support can help build confidence, reduce anxiety around parenting issues, and provide a toolbox for handling many issues that arise in the family.
Clinical Supervision for School Social Workers
With years of experience supervising LMSWs in school settings as they work toward clinical licensure, I provide clinical supervision in a nonjudgmental, supportive space. Together, we focus on enhancing your clinical skills, maintaining ethical practices, and establishing healthy boundaries, as well as developing strategies to prevent burnout.
School social work can be extremely demanding, and having supportive supervision can make a significant difference as you navigate the challenges and work toward obtaining your clinical license. I am committed to helping you grow and succeed in your clinical social work practice.
Group Facilitator
I have experience facilitating a diverse range of groups, including those for caregivers of family members with cancer, parenting groups, and child groups. In each of these settings, I prioritize creating a safe and supportive environment where members feel empowered to express themselves. I provide the framework for our time together while allowing participants to take the lead, fostering a sense of ownership and collaboration in their support of each other.
Workshops and Professional Development
I lead workshops on trauma-informed practices in schools, support for parents whose children are entering college, addressing behavioral issues in the classroom, obtaining special education services for children, managing technology in the family, and more.
